Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) recently named Veronica Sanders Director for Economic Development for the Moultrie Campus.
“I welcome Veronica Sanders to the Economic Development Division of Southern Regional Technical College. Veronica’s background, experience, and enthusiasm will provide a fresh approach to the economic development activities at the Moultrie location,” commented Dennis Lee, Vice President for Economic Development at SRTC.
In her new role, Sanders is responsible for facilitating relationships between local business and industry partners and the College. SRTC’s Department of Economic Development and the Technical College System of Georgia as a whole are committed to providing workforce development activities that supplement the credit offerings at the College. Additionally, Sanders will be the primary point of contact for local facility rentals, continuing education courses, personal enrichment courses, customized training, and a multitude of other offerings at the College.

I look forward to serving in this capacity and doing my part to aid in strengthening the relationship between Southern Regional Technical College and Colquitt County business and industry,” stated Mrs. Sanders.
Sanders received her Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville in 2002 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution in 2000. Since August 2015 she has been employed as the Workforce Development Coordinator at SRTC as part of the Federal TAACCCT Grant. Previously, she was the Master’s Program Advisor for the School of Professional Psychology and Coordinator of Disability Support Services at Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri. Additionally, she served as an Academic Advisor for Ozarks Technical Community College from 2011 to 2013.
