Do you have a student who needs Drivers Ed classes? We can help with that!
Joshua's Law requires 16-17 year olds to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 additional hours of driving time with an instructor to receive a Class D license.
Our Division of Economic Development offers Driver's Education courses that meet Joshua's Law requirements.
Most importantly, these courses produce safer, more confident young drivers.
Our course is a Department of Driver's Services (DDS) approved 30/6 program that includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. The driving portion is scheduled with the instructor on the first day of class for a date after the curriculum portion is completed.Participants must possess a learner's permit.
A state DDS grant is available and, if awarded, covers the entire cost of the program. Otherwise, the cost of the course is $350.
Courses are offered in Tifton, Thomasville, and Moultrie. Please visit our calendar for upcoming dates: https://southernregional.edu/economic-development/calendar
