Fall semester graduates from Southern Regional Technical College’s (SRTC) Nurse Aide program in Moultrie achieved a 100% passage on the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP). The NNAAP determines competency to become enrolled in the Georgia State Nurse Aide registry, making all nine graduates Certified Nurse Aides (CNA).
Angela Brinson, Andrea Cayna, Lorissa Gill, India Jones, Rubi Lopez, Tien Nichols, Diana Salinas, Elizabeth Snyder, and Raneka Young completed their coursework in December 2024 and participated in the college’s commencement ceremony on December 4. Each graduate passed their board exam on the first attempt. This 100% first-attempt pass rate is a major accomplishment for this program and its students.
"We are delighted with the achievements of our December 2024 SRTC-Moultrie Nurse Aide students," said SRTC's Dean of Nursing Bobbie Hester, RN, MSN. "Their successful completion of the state board exams reflects both their commitment to excellence and the quality instruction provided by our dedicated faculty. These students have shown remarkable proficiency in essential patient care skills, laying a strong foundation for their healthcare careers."
SRTC's Nurse Aide program consistently delivers outstanding results, as evidenced by excellent certification exam pass rates and strong employment outcomes. Throughout the program, the students completed the classroom training, laboratory practice, and clinical rotations required to earn their Nurse Aide certification.
