Program Description: The Business Management program prepares experienced workers for entry into management or supervisory positions within a wide variety of businesses and industries. The Business Management program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.

Length of Program: Four (4) Semesters

Student Learning Outcomes:
80% of students will demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and defending the predominant leadership style of a selected leader by earning a 80% or better on the Leadership Defense Paper.

80% of students will demonstrate proficiency in determining the distribution and promotional challenges encountered by a manufacturing company by earning 80% or greater on the Distribution and Promotion Project.

80% of students will demonstrate proficiency in creating and delivering a business presentation by earning 80% or greater on the Business Presentation Project.

80% of students will demonstrate proficiency in conducting an interview by earning a 80% or better on the Interview Assignment Rubric.

Entrance Date: Beginning of each semester.

Age: Applicant must be 16 years of age or older.

Education: An applicant must be a high school graduate or the equivalent (GED). College transcripts will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Advisor: A Program Advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course. An advisor will be assigned by admissions.

Program Final Exit Point: Business Management, Diploma.

Credits Required for Graduation: 51 minimum semester hour credits required for graduation.
