SRTC Inducts New Members into National Technical Honors Society in Thomasville

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Thomasville chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) inducted twenty-three new members into the organization. The formal ceremony was held at SRTC’s Thomasville campus.

The 2026 Spring NTHS inductees included: Sethany Cook, a Veterinary Technology student from Climax, Monieca Daniels, an Associate of Science in Nursing student from Cairo, Meghan DeLoach, an Associate of Science in Nursing student from Thomasville, Kendra Derico, a Cybersecurity student from Cairo, Maricela Duvergel, a Respiratory Care student from Doerun, Cheyenne Edwards, a Business Management student from Camilla, Chelsea Elijah, a Social Work student form Donalsonville, Melanie Ferral Vega, a Veterinary Technology student from Moultrie, Ashanti Hines, a Practical Nursing student from Camilla, Ashlyn Ingram, an Early Childhood Care and Education student from Ochlocknee, David Long, a Cybersecurity student from Thomasville, Aubreona McIntyre, a Business Management student from Thomasville, Nailah Mitchell, a Practical Nursing student from Cairo, Macey Morris, a Practical Nursing student from Colquitt, Lindsey Norman, a Criminal Justice student from Thomasville, Brooke Perryman, a Veterinary Technology student from Hartsfield, Maranda Quigg, an Interdisciplinary Studies student from Thomasville, Braizee Rogers, a Practical Nursing student from Blakely, Clayton Stamps, a Drafting Technology student from Baconton, Nylah Walker, a Practical Nursing student from Thomasville, Haley Willis, a Veterinary Technology student from Valdosta, Mia Winans, a Veterinary Technology student from Tallahassee, and Shandranicka Wyche (Shaw), a Medical Laboratory Technology student from Thomasville.

“I’m tremendously proud of our NTHS inductees,” said Thomasville NTHS Advisor Denik Revels. “They are a remarkable group of students whose dedication, skill, and leadership inspire excellence throughout SRTC and in the community.”

As a national organization, the purpose of NTHS is to promote the ideals of honesty, service, leadership, career development, and skilled workmanship. NTHS rewards meritorious achievement in technical education and assists technical students in their pursuit of educational and career goals. Nationwide, NTHS works to develop a greater awareness within the American business, industry, and service communities about the talents and abilities of students engaged in technical education, and provides technical students with a greater awareness of the world of work.

Benefits of membership in NTHS include a diploma or certificate seal indicating membership, three letters of recommendation sent upon request to any business, industry, or educational institution where the member applies, and an excellent resume entry denoting leadership and participation in a student organization. To maintain eligibility for membership, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
