Articulation (Transfer) Agreements

Southern Regional Technical College is committed to helping our graduates to pursue their educational and career goals. To this end, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) creates partnerships with local colleges and universities. These partnerships allow our students to articulate (transfer) credit between the two institutions. The following list contains links to the current transfer of credit agreements SRTC shares with other area colleges and universities.

University System of Georgia (USG) General Education Transfer Courses:

General Education (Core) Agreement: The TCSG-USG agreement specifies 38 general education (core) courses that are guaranteed to transfer between SACSCOC accredited TCSG and USG institutions.
General Education (Core) Agreement: The TCSG to Independent Colleges agreement specifies 52 general education (core) courses that are guaranteed to transfer between SACSCOC accredited TCSG and Georgia’s Independent Colleges.

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC):

Criminal Justice: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Criminal Justice to ABAC Online Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Criminal Justice
General Business: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in General Business to ABAC Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Business
Interdisciplinary Studies (General Education): SRTC Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Interdisciplinary Studies (General Education) to ABAC baccalaureate programs.

Albany State University (ASU):

Education: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Education to ASU Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Elementary Education

Georgia Military College (GMC):

Any SRTC student completing an Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree will be accepted into the GMC Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree programs with 24-48 semester hours of credit transferred to the GMC programs.

Kennesaw State University (KSU):

Education: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Education to KSU Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Elementary Education

South Georgia State College (SGSC):

Education: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Education to SGSC Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Elementary/Special Education

St. Matthew’s University, School of Veterinary Medicine

Veterinary Technology: SRTC Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Veterinary Technology to St. Matthew’s University, School of Veterinary Medicine DVM program.

University of Georgia

Interdisciplinary Studies: SRTC Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Interdisciplinary Studies to University of Georgia baccalaureate program.

University of Phoenix (UOPX):

Criminal Justice, AS: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Criminal Justice to University of Phoenix Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Criminal Justice Administration
Criminal Justice, AAS: SRTC Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Criminal Justice Technology to University of Phoenix Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Criminal Justice Administration

Valdosta State University (VSU):

Accounting: SRTC Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Accounting to USG partnering institutions offering a baccalaureate degree in Accounting.
Business and Professional Service Career Pathway: SRTC Associate of Science (AS) Degree in a business or professional services career pathway to Mercer Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree at Mercer University’s Penfield College, Tift College of Education, and Stetson School of Business and Economics.
Cybersecurity: SRTC Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Cybersecurity to Augusta University Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity Consortium: SRTC Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Cybersecurity to partnering USG institutions offering a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Cybersecurity.
Educator Preparation: Students completing the Associate Degree in Education (ASEd) at any TCSG institution who is transferring to partnering USG institutions offering an Educator Preparation Program (EPP) baccalaureate degree.
Health Career Pathway: TCSG Associate of Science (AS) Degree to select Pre-Health Mercer Bachelor of Science (BS) Degrees in the College of Professional Advancement.
Nursing: SRTC Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Generic and LPN-RN Bridge Options to Lagrange College of Nursing
Nursing Consortium: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Generic and LPN-RN Bridge Options to partnering institutions in the USG RN-BSN Consortium
Select credit hours and programs: SRTC credit hours to American College of Education’s (ACE) online academic and credentialing options, including bachelor’s completion, master’s, doctoral, nursing (BSN/MSN), and micro-credential programs.
