Dual Achievement Program
The Dual Achievement Program (established by SB204) offers qualified students a recognized and alternate path to high school graduation. Students choose to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and two (2) technical certificates of credit, a technical diploma, or a college associate degree in a specific career pathway in order to meet high school graduation requirements.
Dual Achievement is ideal for students seeking a new environment to complete their high school course requirements while earning college credentials to prepare them for in-demand careers.
Dual Achievement Program (DAP) Requirements:
- Students must be between the ages of 16 and 21 years of age.
- Students will withdraw from their current high school and enroll in their local dual achievement academy.
- Students must have successfully completed at least six of the following required high school courses prior to admission to DAP:
- 2 English/Language Arts
- 2 Math

Students will complete the remaining high school courses, if needed, through the dual achievement academy while also completing the technical course requirements through SRTC. After completion of all DAP requirements, the student will receive his/her high school diploma from the dual achievement academy as well as the technical certificates of credit from SRTC.
Students will choose to complete a degree, diploma, or two (2) technical certificates of credit with SRTC within these areas of study:
Accounting, Air Conditioning Technology, Automotive Collision, Business Technology, Construction, Criminal Justice Technology, Drafting Technology, Early Childhood Care and Education, Electrical Wiring and Maintenance, Healthcare, Industrial Systems Technology, Information Technology, Paramedicine, and Welding and Joining Technology.
Dual Enrollment Funding will cover the cost of the technical courses for the DAP program. After capping out of the 30 dual enrollment funding hours, students may be eligible to use HOPE/HOPE Career Grant funds.
