Addition Financial Credit Union and Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) have announced a new partnership designed to support student success and strengthen financial education across the college community.
The collaboration marks the Florida-headquartered credit union’s first college partnership in Georgia and builds upon the credit union’s growing commitment to the communities it serves throughout the region.
As part of the partnership, Addition Financial has contributed $30,000 to establish a scholarship fund at SRTC. The fund will help bridge financial gaps for students who may need additional assistance to continue their education and pursue their career goals.
“We are incredibly grateful to Addition Financial for their generous $30,000 gift to establish this unrestricted scholarship fund at Southern Regional Technical College,” said Christina Reneau, executive director of Institutional Advancement at SRTC. “This support will make a direct, tangible
difference for our students, many of whom are balancing work, family, and school while working toward their degree. Gifts like this one don't just fund an education, they fund a future, and we're proud to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to all the communities we serve.”
Beyond the scholarship contribution, the partnership will place a strong emphasis on financial literacy. Addition Financial will provide workshops, seminars and other educational opportunities for SRTC students, faculty and staff, covering topics that can help participants make informed financial decisions and build a strong foundation for the future.

By partnering with SRTC, the credit union can continue supporting local students as they take the next step in their educational journeys and prepare to enter the workforce.
