Alumni-Owned Business Spotlight: Flourish of Thomasville!

Logo for FlourishToday's Alumni-Owned Business Spotlight is Flourish of Thomasville, the encouragement store!

In 2011, SRTC alumni Gerriann Kennedy was diagnosed with breast cancer, resulting in a double mastectomy as well as chemo and radiation. Post recovery, she knew she wanted to be able to share her experience with others in hopes of helping give relief and comfort.

As she and fellow SRTC grad and business partner Missy Taylor began to discuss what would have been helpful during the “journey” that tried to take her femininity and left her with dry skin & hair loss, they realized everyone is going through something.

They broadened their purpose. What began as a store for cancer survivors has evolved into a store that offers affordable comfort and encourages healthier living for ALL walks in life, from the broken to the blossoming!

"Our official mission is practical, affordable encouragement. Everything in our store serves a purpose. We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t pay for ourselves! Gerriann and I both love our store very much. Please come visit the next time you are in the ‘ville!" - Missy Taylor, Flourish of Thomasville Co-Owner.

Flourish is located at 216 S. Broad St. Thomasville, Georgia 31792.
