On April 11th, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) was presented with a check in the amount of $2,000 by the Moultrie Federated Guild. The funds will be used to provide scholarships to Colquitt County students and were raised in conjunction with the 62nd Annual Antique Show, held on SRTC’s Veteran’s Parkway Campus in March of 2019.

On hand for the presentation were Jenny Dell, Director of the Southern Regional Technical College Foundation, Bobbie Key and Suzanne Mashburn of the Moultrie Federated Guild, and Dr. Craig Wentworth, SRTC President.

“We are honored to be one of the beneficiaries of the Moultrie Federated Guild’s annual Vintage Market & Antique Show. This generous gift will be put right back into the local economy in the form of scholarship dollars for four deserving Colquitt County students at Southern Regional Technical College. Because of the efforts of generous donors like the Moultrie Federated Guild, the SRTC Foundation is able to provide crucial financial support for our students’ success. On average, The Foundation awards over $105,000 annually in student scholarships,” commented Jenny Dell, Director of the Southern Regional Technical College Foundation.

Current and future SRTC students may apply for scholarships for Fall semester from May 27-July 19 by visiting southernregional.edu/scholarships.
