During the 2023 spring semester, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) announced that Campus Coordinator KaCee Holt had assumed a new title at the college: Campus Director for SRTC-Bainbridge. As Campus Director, Holt’s responsibilities have expanded to encompass the SRTC community both on and off campus. She acts as a liaison for the Southwest Georgia community by coordinating community relations, assisting in the academic and student affairs of the campus, planning and coordinating events, and supervising staff. In addition to her duties as Campus Director, Holt now manages the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center, which is located on the SRTC-Bainbridge campus.

Holt had served as a coordinator at SRTC since 2018, during which time SRTC’s President Jim Glass noted that she displayed impressive initiative and leadership. “KaCee has been an incredible asset to our SRTC community in Bainbridge and beyond,” he said. “She takes on every assignment with creativity, enthusiasm, and determination. She is deeply entwined in the Southwest Georgia community and she always represents SRTC with integrity and grace. This promotion to Campus Director was a natural evolution and an acknowledgement of the remarkable work she has done. We are so lucky to have her on our team.”

Prior to joining the team at SRTC, Holt served as the Assistant Executive Director / Marketing Director for the Colquitt Miller County Arts Council, as an instructor for the Miller County School System, and as the President of the Colquitt Miller County Chamber of Commerce. She holds an Associate of Fine Arts degree, a Bachelor of Journalism degree, a Master of Education degree, and a Six-Year Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership degree. Holt currently serves as the District 1 City Council Representative for Colquitt, and has been involved in numerous state and local organizations, including Colquitt Downtown Development Association, Georgia Association of Chamber Executives, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Georgia LEADS, the Georgia Economic Development Association, and most recently a graduate of Leadership Decatur County - Class of 2023.

“Being a part of SRTC has been rewarding and provided me the opportunity to continue to build relationships in our delivery area,” said Holt. “Education is a critical component in Southwest Georgia, and I appreciate that I get to be a small part of providing programs and options for our students. I work with a great team of people whose efforts are changing students’ lives, and that makes it easy to come to work every day.”
