SRTC Nurse Aide Graduates Honored in Pinning Ceremony

On Tuesday, July 16, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) recognized eight graduating Nurse Aide Accelerated students at a pinning ceremony at SRTC-Thomasville honoring their achievements. The program honored students from the SRTC-Thomasville cohort:

Carlee Boozer of Moultrie, Britney Fleming of Nashville, De’Unyzia Florence of Camilla, Kamali Jackson of Camilla, Erica Love of Moultrie, Rosa Mickler of Cairo, Tiarra Taylor of Thomasville, and Salea Williams of Camilla.

The Nurse Aide Accelerated Technical Certificate of Credit Program is approved by the Georgia Medical Care Foundation. During their five-week accelerated program, the students completed the classroom training, laboratory practice, and clinical rotations required to earn their Nurse Aide certification. These graduates are now eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment program which determines competency to become enrolled in the Georgia State Nurse Aide registry.

"We are incredibly proud of our graduating Nurse Aide Accelerated students for their dedication and hard work over the past five weeks. They have shown remarkable commitment to their studies and clinical practice, and their achievements today are a testament to their passion for providing quality healthcare,” said Nurse Aide Accelerated instructor Karen Kelso, RN, MSN.
