Paramedic Capstone Field Internship EMSP 2206
3 CreditsThis final capstone experience provides paramedic students with the opportunity to apply the full scope of their education
in a supervised field setting. Students function under the guidance of an approved preceptor while serving as team leader
on a variety of advanced life support (ALS) calls. Emphasis is placed on real-time decision making, team coordination,
patient management, and professional conduct. This course is designed to ensure students demonstrate entry-level
competency in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Students must meet all Student Minimum Competency
(SMC) requirements, including successful completion of a required team leads, prior to course completion.
