Learning Support Reading READ 90

Pre-requisite(s): Appropriate Placement Test Score

This course provides learning support for students deficient in both reading and English based on placement scores. After successful completion of the course, students can move on to the ENGL 0090 Co-requisite course. The course focuses on strengthening fundamental reading and English competencies to include, vocabulary, comprehensive skills, critical reading skills, study skills, context area reading skills, rules of grammar, punctuation, capitalization, subject/verb agreement, correct verb forms, spelling, writing and revising skills for basic paragraph development.
