On the evening of October 27, 2025, the Bainbridge and Thomasville chapters of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) inducted 9 new members into the organization. The formal ceremony was held at SRTC’s Thomasville campus. The 2025 Fall NTHS inductees were Alexis Anderson, Debbie Conner, Veronica Cornelius, Angela Grubbs, Brecken Johns, Emily Lamb, Twanmisha Peeks, Jasmine Thompson, and Franchescia Williams.
“I’m tremendously proud of our NTHS inductees,” said Thomasville NTHS Advisor Denik Revels. “They are a remarkable group of students whose dedication, skill, and leadership inspire excellence throughout SRTC and in the community.”
As a national organization, the purpose of NTHS is to promote the ideals of honesty, service, leadership, career development, and skilled workmanship. NTHS rewards meritorious achievement in technical education and assists technical students in their pursuit of educational and career goals. Nationwide, NTHS works to develop a greater awareness within the American business, industry, and service communities about the talents and abilities of students engaged in technical education, and provides technical students with a greater awareness of the world of work.
NTHS Advisors on the Bainbridge campus, Owen Elkins and Hannah Vanlandingham, stated, “We are incredibly proud of our Honor Society students—not just for their academic excellence, but for the character they show every day. These leaders consistently go above and beyond, lifting others up, serving their communities, and setting a powerful example for their peers. Watching them grow into thoughtful, driven individuals is a privilege, and we couldn’t be more proud to support them on their journey."
Benefits of membership in NTHS include a diploma or certificate seal indicating membership, three letters of recommendation sent upon request to any business, industry, or educational institution where member applies, and an excellent resume entry denoting leadership and participation in a student organization. To maintain eligibility for membership, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
