SRTC Foundation Awards $53,750 in Scholarships for Spring Semester 2023

For the 2023 spring semester, which begins January 10, the Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) Foundation awarded scholarships to 65 students totaling $53,750. The SRTC scholarship funds assist students with education-related costs such as tuition, fees, books, classroom and lab supplies, and gas money.

The students who were awarded scholarships are Brittany MacDonald of Adel; Emily Payne of Ashburn; Katie Wade of Baconton; Crystal McNair, Lakisha Murphy, and Yessenia Correa of Bainbridge; Katisa Payne of Berlin; Victoria West and Conner Sadler of Boston; Ny'Ajah Hardy, Carole Bell, Kasey Taylor, Gabriella Sanchez, Yeni Gonzalez-Menchu, Jamyra Harrell, and Laura Maxwell of Cairo; Kelli Johnson of Coolidge; Candace Rambo of Donalsonville; Kimberly Pitts of Enigma; Alana Brady of Lenox; Allison Taylor, Jeffery Ingle, Anna Parten, Brett Wilson, Montana Mathis, Caleb Guerra, Tahany Hobgood, and Catherine Porter of Moultrie; Brittany Bennett of Nashville; Amanda Goldman-Petri and Toni Hornsby of Ochlocknee; Amanda Saunders of Omega; Lakyn Griffin and Donna Stewart of Pavo; Alliyah Haywood, Ashanti Haywood and Sarah Kirsch of Pelham; Kristen Story of Sycamore; Kylie Barnes and Tyler Goodwin of Sylvester; Kyra Evans of Tallahassee; Stacy Lopes, Bobbie Quick, Jasmine Smith, Taylor Brittain, Page Lamons, Ellaniti Anderson, Demetria Myrick, Marian Rincon, Stacy Lopes, Kristin Revell, Madison Spiker, Brooke Stanley and Vivian Winter of Thomasville; Paul Arvizu, Virginia Reyes, Dolores Bradley, Roxana Carey, Noemi Reyes, Hannah Walker and Amelia Hillmon of Tifton; Brittany Parks and Lavella Marshall of Valdosta; and Bria Bogan and Alyssa Newsom of Whigham.

The SRTC Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote the cause of higher education and expand educational opportunities to the students of SRTC.
