SRTC Students Excel at FBLA National Competition

Posted on

Students from Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) showcased their exceptional skills at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate National Leadership Conference in Las Vegas on June 6-8.

Three SRTC FBLA-Collegiate students competed at the National level after placing first at the Georgia Spring Leadership Conference in March. The FBLA National Leadership Conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 6-8, where thousands of students from colleges and universities across the country competed in over forty business-related events.

Megan Patel placed fourth in Hospitality Management Case Study.

Joshua Spear placed fourth in Foundations of Technology.

Micaela Miley competed in Computer Applications.

"Watching Megan, Joshua, and Micaela compete at the national level is something we are incredibly proud of," said Carol Peppers, SRTC FBLA-Collegiate Advisor. "Placing first at the state conference and then representing SRTC in Las Vegas takes real dedication and preparation. These students have shown what is possible when you commit to your goals, and that drive will serve them well long after the competition is over."
